The VULPIS series is a line of items divided into two sizes: the smaller one with an overall length of 11 cm - 4.33" and the larger one with 13.5 cm - 5.31".
The smaller one features a single-blade model, while the larger one starts from a blade and goes up to five uses: saw, bottle opener, can opener, flathead screwdriver, and scissors.
For over four decades, Fox Knives has engaged with a dynamic and competitive market and has chosen to pursue research and development with a bold and distinctive approach: continuously evolving design.
The roots of the territory remain the "artisanal instinct" with which the company operates, studying the history of Maniago cutlery to update industrial production processes.
The VULPIS series arose from the need to create a compact, versatile multi-tool with a modern style that forms a perfect blend with historical products. The inspiration for creating this line comes from the DUCA, the name of the multi-tool for Maniago residents, a knife born in the second half of the 19th century in Maniago when hunting penknives were produced with blades of different sizes, ivory toothpicks, and tweezers for removing thorns. These knives were presented at the National Exhibition in Turin in 1888 by the company Bet Giovanni, which won a gold medal for the quality of its products. It was then that, most likely, Luigi Amedeo of Savoy, Duke of Abruzzi, wished to visit one of the company's two shops in Turin where he saw and ordered the four-blade multi-tool that he chose as an integral part of the equipment for the expedition to the North Pole which he captained in 1899.
