The VULPIS series is a line of items divided into two sizes: the smaller one with an overall length of 11 cm - 4.33" and the larger one of 13.5 cm - 5.31".
The small one features a single blade model, while the larger one ranges from a single blade up to five uses: saw, bottle opener, can opener, flat-head screwdriver, and scissors.
For over four decades, Fox Knives has engaged with a dynamic and competitive market, choosing the path of research and development with a bold and distinctive approach: continuously evolving design.
The company's "craftsmanship instinct" remains rooted in its territory, studying the history of Maniago cutlery to update industrial production processes.
The VULPIS series was born from the need to create a compact, versatile multi-tool with a modern style that perfectly complements historical products. The inspiration for this line comes from the DUCA, the name for the Maniago multi-tool, a knife born in the second half of the 19th century in Maniago when hunting penknives with blades of different sizes, ivory toothpicks, and tweezers for removing thorns were produced. These knives were presented at the National Exhibition in Turin in 1888 by the Bet Giovanni company, which won a gold medal for the quality of its products. It was then, most likely, that Luigi Amedeo of Savoy, Duke of the Abruzzi, wanted to visit one of the company's two stores in Turin where he saw and ordered the four-blade multi-tool that he chose as an integral part of the equipment for the expedition to the North Pole which he captained in 1899.
