In 1941 the US Army introduced the two-piece herringbone twill (HBT) work suit to replace worn-out denim pants and coveralls. Its iconic rivet buttons are similar to those found on jeans.

Faithful reproduction of the combat shirt issued to US Marines from 1941-1944, with 2 large front pockets closed with metal buttons. Color #7 dark green.
